It’s Time For Me To Talk Wrestling Again

Talk about wrestling…

Wow, I guess for some strange reason everything’s starting to get better. Well, almost…

A lot oh things had happened since the last time I wrote anything about wrestling. Now RAW is on high def. That is good news but I think it hasn’t really done anything yet. I’m not digging the new set of RAW that much either. It’s not bad at all, however, it does look like something American Idol would come up with for a season finale.

Storywise, I’m loving what they’re coming up with. I mean that Orton-Hardy feud was just brilliant! And Hardy is showing a lot of heart. I thought that cage match with Umaga was something. Making the Whisper In The Wind from the top of the cage was already enough for me to actually pay to see the Royal Rumble. I was thinking he couldn’t possibly top that off going to the pay-per-view.

Then a week after he made that suicidal-like Swanton Bomb from the lights… man, that was a classic. Highlight reel material. And they gave that up for free? That ending could have been set for the Rumble. Makes you wonder what other shit they could end up doing on the championship match itself.

Too bad Hardy’s probably not gonna win it. But who the hell knows, right? After all, nobody expected him to win over HHH either right?

Sometime ago I said that Edge’s new group should add another member. It’s been rumored that the new Edge faction is aimed to resemble The Corporation, Vince McMahon’s former faction. Of course, with the roster WWE has today, I doubt they would be able to pull that off.

I however praise them for putting Edge with Vicky and the Edgeheads. Like I said though I felt they needed another member. Then enters Chavo Guerrero. It was perfect. In time I’m sure everyone in that group would be holding a belt (except for Vicky of course – but if the Women’s Championship was on SD! then who knows…). Right now Edge has the World Heavyweight Championship belt and Chavo is the new ECW Champion. I predict the Edgeheads having the Tag Team belts not long after.

It’ll be shame to see The Miz and Morrison to lose the titles though if that happens.

I’ve seen enough of Khali and Hornswoggle already. Don’t get me wrong, I like Hornswoggle and he adds a little humor every now and then. But I hate Khali. I guess they’re running out of things for him to do. He’s lucky he’s working with Finlay who’s a good wrestler.

Carlito and Santino Marrela would make a good tag team. But it’s bound to end real soon. They’re putting Carlito and his brother together. I’m not getting my hopes up anymore ever since my expectations for Cody Rhodes went down in flames. I though he would be great since he’s the son of Dusty Rhodes. I was wrong. Maybe it was just a bit too early for the younger Rhodes.

But maybe… just maybe… Carlito’s brother could end up being a nice catch.

Kofi Kingston looks like the kid Carlito and Booker T never had. I’m just saying…
