Launch Party.I was expecting for a LIVE BAND,Dancers???,Beer,Freaks….,Balloons,Cake..err nevermind.
Anyways,as soon as i reached the place..i didnt expect the errr.yeah, akward silence. As if there was an unidentified object that invaded their sacred sanctuary..
in short,THE GEEKS paved way and gave me a grand red-carpet entrance..(NOT!haha)
i even heard one of them saying..”wohoo,a female just landed”.Of course,i made this stinging “i shall kill you with my cuteness” look towards the guy who said that.

Last year, when Marvel comics was neck deep in publicity due to the whole “Civil War” storyline, I was caught on the wave of enthusiasm as Captain America and his renegades faced off against Iron Man’s band of superpowered police officers. The monumental storyline ended up with Spiderman revealing to the world his true identity, Hulk getting pissed off at everyone (See “Planet Hulk” and “World War Hulk”), Iron Man becoming head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain America surrendering and dying.
It seems like we the other geeks have other things in mind, I just can’t find anything to write about these days. Or maybe my brain functions have reached a new low that it doesn’t even want to think of anything right now. So, why did I wait this long to post an article, well for one thing I just want to let everybody know that the geeks are still here, just out of inspiration(hmmm… is that the right thing to say), and second; this was the only topic I could think of right now.
The comic book world is in disarray it seems. What with all these big events going around both in Marvel Comics and DC, comic book fans everywhere are digging deep in their pockets to manage to grab ever tie in and one shot ad miniseries available. Marvel started of the Secret War, House of M, Civil War and now is pumping out World War Hulk, The Initiative and God knows what else. DC on the other hand started with Identity Crisis which then led to Infinite Crisis and are now building up to next year’s Final Crisis.
